Every time you make it home safely…

You get to ride again! I love learning how to be good at things, and riding scooters and motorcycles definitely involve lots of skills. It makes me a safer rider and it is a lot more fun. I recently read a really good article about staying out of blind spots. It reminded me of my 2 rules of road safety: 1. Drive like you are invisible 2. Drive as if everyone else on the road were drunk. I use them when in the car, too.

He advises us to create a Blind-Spot Warning Buzzer in your head. He says, “I have one, and everything I do in traffic in a car or on a bike is aimed at keeping this buzzer quiet.” Read it and think about it and do it. It will make you a happier and safer rider.
